British Flowers Week 2024

It’s a big one in the UK’s Floral calendar this week, as florists around the country celebrate British Flowers Week 2024. We’ll be championing local growers all week and every stem in-store will be British!

The UK cut-flower scene is going from strength to strength, and we’ve loved partnering with local growers like Spindle and Brothers Farm since we opened our doors in 2021. This week our Florist’s Choice bouquet (as pictured in Large) showcases the very best of British stems - full of peonies, allium, sweet williams, delphiniums, pittosporum and loads more. We’ve teamed up with Evolve Flowers this time around, and the recently launched South West Flower Grower Collective - a group of South West-based growers pooling resources and shared strategy to resource florists with high quality, locally-grown flowers.

Pop down to either of our stores in Westbourne or Southbourne to pick up some British stems. We’ve also got mini bunches of tulips, sunflowers and other beauties!
